Springs can be manufactured in different materials and surface finish depending on factors such as application or project requirements and operating environment.  While the materials and surface finish are very important to the function of the springs.

Here below are the materials option and its characteristic for your review to make the right decision for your application.

High-carbon Steel: Economical ,strong, versatile and easy to use. While it could not work in temperatures over 250°F and it is not suitable for applications requiring long life

Alloy Steel: Strong and malleable engouth for applications with high impact requirements or where repeated high pressure tasks are required. While it would decompose in extreme temperatures.

Nickel alloy: An excellent choice for extreme environments, especially high temperatures.

Stainless steel: Strong ,malleable, stable ,corrosion resistance and longer service life. It can work well no matter in high temperature or low temperature.
