Constant force spring damper

Dampers are widely used in building structures to dissipate energy and reduce vibration. However, the traditional damper has complex structure, poor durability and corrosion resistance, and low working stability. After using for a period of time, the damper is prone to aging and deformation can not be restored, so it can not be used anymore.

Most of the existing dampers use shape memory alloy (SMA), which is a material composed of more than two kinds of metal elements through thermoelasticity, martensitic transformation and its inversion; Using shape memory alloy, the damper can automatically restore to its original shape after deformation, which is used for the restoration of building structures after deformation. However, the existing dampers only use the performance of shape memory alloy (SMA) wire itself, and the cost is expensive, which is not conducive to the large-scale use of dampers.

The design of constant force spring can be added to the self resetting damper. The damper includes piston parts, U-shaped plates and moving rods. The constant force spring is set between the tension moving rod and the pressure moving rod. The constant force spring tightens the tension moving rod and the pressure moving rod to be close to each other, so that the tension moving rod and the pressure moving rod respectively lean against the end close to each other in the corresponding sliding hole. It is conducive to the large-scale use of self resetting dampers.

Constant force spring is a kind of functional material with high ductility, which has the advantages of constant load, high energy storage density, low friction loss and so on. Compared with other dampers, the passive energy dissipation device made of constant force spring has the advantages of good durability and corrosion resistance, low price and recoverable deformation. Compared with the existing dampers, the use of SMA wire greatly reduces the cost and is conducive to the large-scale use of self resetting dampers. From the initial design stage to the production and final assembly of constant force springQianye precision can save customers time in product development and find out optimization solutions that exceed your expectations.  A constant force spring is a spring that exerts a constant force over its range of motion. That is, it does not obey Hooke's law. Typically, a constant force spring is constructed as a coiled band of spring steel so that the spring relaxes when fully coiled. When it is unrolled, the restoring force comes mainly from the portion of...
