Dampers are widely used in building structures to dissipate energy and reduce vibration. However, the traditional damper has complex structure, poor durability and corrosion resistance, and low working stability. After using for a period of time, the damper is prone to aging and deformation can not be restored, so it can not be used anymore.
Most of the existing dampers use shape memory alloy (SMA), which is a material composed of more than two kinds of metal elements through thermoelasticity, martensitic transformation and its inversion; Using shape memory alloy, the damper can automatically restore to its original shape after deformation, which is used for the restoration of building structures after deformation. However, the existing dampers only use the performance of shape memory alloy (SMA) wire itself, and the cost is expensive, which is not conducive to the large-scale use of dampers.
The design of constant force spring can be added to the self resetting damper. The damper includes piston parts, U-shaped plates and moving rods. The constant force spring is set between the tension moving rod and the pressure moving rod. The constant force spring tightens the tension moving rod and the pressure moving rod to be close to each other, so that the tension moving rod and the pressure moving rod respectively lean against the end close to each other in the corresponding sliding hole. It is conducive to the large-scale use of self resetting dampers.
